One of the things that disappointed me the most about Boston, is the fact that at 2.00 am all the clubs, bars and nightclubs turned on their lights on and kicked everyone out. After living in Venezuela and Paris where parties last until the next day, I felt that being kicked out at 2.00 am was literally interrupting the party at its peak and asking you to leave. However something that never ceases to make me smile, is people’s reactions when the lights are turned on. Some people react as if their parents had caught them doing something bad. Others get really angry because they are not quite ready to leave. But the most common reaction is to look around you to see if you can find someone to continue the party with. And if you haven’t found anyone by 2 o’clock it is very likely that you’ll settle for pretty much anyone.
