Last year American Vogue caused great controversy because of the fact that they feature Bashar Al-Assad’s wife of the cover of one of their issues. Not only that, but they printed an entire article where they portrayed the Assad family as a very nice and loving one and even dared to say that Asma Al-Assad (Assad’s wife) was one of the most stylish women on the planet. I mean of course, when you have an entire country’s budget at your disposal in order to buy clothes and accessories you are bound to end up wearing only the best of the best
